Welcome to Canoga Park High School - a great place to learn!

 

Can you smell what the Hunters are cookin’?

 

I am the proud principal and also a proud parent. My daughter is in the class of 2021 and my son graduated in 2017. I chose Canoga because I believe it provides the perfect balance of academics, activities and community. We offer an engaging and rigorous education where students have the opportunity to excel academically while receiving a well-rounded high school experience.

 

I was born in the San Fernando Valley and attended LAUSD schools, then went on to earn an undergraduate degree at the University of California (Berkeley) and a graduate degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I am committed to maximizing the potential of each and every child. I know the path to an elite education and a fulfilling career; and my goal is to share my experience with your child so they can realize their own dreams. 

 

There are two magnets - Engineering, Environmental & Veterinary Science (EEVS) and Communications, Arts & Media (CAM). We also have a vibrant AVID program and a Newcomer's Academy. We just launched an Early College Program where students can complete two years of college during their time at Canoga. Next year, we will launch a Visual and Performing Arts Academy (VAPA) Program.

 

We are also very excited to continue CSUN’s Bridge to the Future scholars program - 25 full tuition relief scholarships to attend Cal State Northridge! 

 

Canoga Park High School is the only LAUSD school to have this kind of agreement with a major university and your child is eligible simply by attending CPHS.
