LAUSD Parent Portal
LAUSD Parent Portal allows for 24/7 access to your child's current grades and attendance, contact with teachers, update emergency card information, complete meal applications, enroll in school choices for magnet programs, and parent volunteer applications.
In order to create an account in Parent Portal, you will need the following information:
- An e-mail account likeGmail or Yahoo (These accounts can be created for FREE by clicking the links)
- Household address and phone number
- Parent four-digit pin (contactCristi McGilvray)
- Student District ID# and birthday for each Child (contactCristi McGilvray)
Once you have set up an account, you can add a Schoology App to your Apple or Android Smartphone Device. The App links are at the top of this page.

How hard is it to get on Schoology?
- It’s super easy. Go to https://parentportalapp.lausd.net/parentaccess/
and click on 4. REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT
o Put in your information, click Register.
o They will send you an email with a link to complete the process. It may take up to two hours to receive your email.
