Canoga's original school building from 1916, and the Greek Theater, were demolished in 1953 due to years of deterioration. They were replaced by the present-day softball field in the Spring of 1954.

The 1954-1955 Cheerleaders. Girls became Cheerleaders at Canoga for the first time in the Fall of 1953. Before that time, all Cheerleaders had been boys.
